How to Fit a Type 2 Fascia Stopend

Position the stopend against the open end of the Type 2 fascia board at the termination point. The stopend should cap both the face and the bottom return lip, fully enclosing the two bend profile. Leave a 2 to 3mm expansion gap between the fascia end and the stopend. Fix to the backing timber with corrosion resistant screws.

Apply a bead of colour coded sealant around the joint between the stopend and the fascia for a weathertight, colour matched seal.
